Garfield Robinson is an author, publisher, bookseller and business adviser.

His love for books started in his family with his mother being a teacher. A year after coming to live in England with his family, he was asked by a Jamaican teacher to find audio-visual material that reflected the Jamaica cultural heritage so she could share with her children. Weeks later he would gather some books and sell at a Black history month event at 336 Brixton Road.
